1) Constitution Day is a Public Holiday In Poland.
2) 3rd May was first declared a holiday on 5th May 1791, and celebrated a year later, on 3rd May 1792.
3) Its Official name is Święto Konstytucji 3 Maja.

4) Until 1989, 3rd May was a common day for anti-government and anti-communist protests.
5) 3rd May Holiday was banned during World War 2 by the Nazi and Soviet occupiers.
